TECNIO IQS Tech Transfer Tech4Society

IQS Tech Transfer Tech4Society has been accredited as a TECNIO agent since May 2025, consolidating its position as a benchmark in research and technology transfer in the fields of manufacturing technologies, digital technologies, Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, innovation, and the transformation of various productive and service sectors.

IQS Tech Transfer Tech4Society research lines primarily focus on applied mechanical engineering, including numerical simulations, material characterization, biomechanics, and medical device design; additive manufacturing; reverse engineering using 3D scanning; mechanical characterization of materials; modeling and rapid prototyping; virtual and physical mock-ups; structural simulations; fluid dynamics in biological organs; and lifecycle management of industrial products (PLM and LCA). Additionally, the team applies data analytics and mathematical modeling techniques to development systems, semantic technologies, learning data analysis, and impact studies in economics and management. IQS Tech Transfer Tech4Society includes researchers who are part of several recognized groups: GAM (Applied Mechanics Group), GEPI (Industrial Product Engineering Group), and ADAMIQS (Applied Data Analytics and Modeling IQS.

Within this framework, the Tecnio agent IQS Tech Transfer Tech4Society develops its R&D and technology transfer activities in the following areas:

  • Development of monitoring systems based on artificial intelligence
  • Industrial testing and remote monitoring
  • Design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes
  • Judicial and industrial expert reports
  • Analysis of unstructured data and semantic modeling applied to engineering and business management
  • Design of experiments and optimization methods
  • Analytical interpretation of web activity and educational environment data
