The URL suspends in-person university activity due to the forecast of strong wind gusts

Following the recommendation of the Government of Catalonia regarding the alert for forecasted strong wind gusts across the territory for tomorrow, Thursday, 12 February, Ramon Llull University is suspending all in-person university activity.

This afternoon, the Government published a resolution establishing restrictions due to the activation of the Special Emergency Plan for Wind Risk in Catalonia (VENTCAT) throughout the entire territory. One of these restrictions is the suspension of educational, sports, and university activities.

Following this directive, URL is suspending its on‑campus academic activity and recommends that the entire university community avoid any travel that is not strictly necessary.
