IQS Launches the "Dream it, STEM it" Contest to Boost Scientific Careers

Prospective students 18 March 2025

IQS recently launched the “Dream it, STEM it” video contest aimed at Advanced Vocational Education students, Secondary School Baccalaureate students, and 4th year of Compulsory Secondary Education students. This initiative aims to promote interest in STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and give visibility to the talent and creativity of young women who seek to transform the future through innovation.

The contest invites participants to share their dreams and show how STEM can turn ideas into revolutionary solutions. Participants have to create a video in which they explain how science and technology can impact the world and contribute to society’s development. In addition, this event strives to involve schools and recognize their work in promoting scientific and technological careers.

Awards and recognitions

Winners will receive scholarships to study at IQS, not to mention other prizes. The first place winner will receive a 75% tuition scholarship for the first year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biotechnology, in addition to free enrolment in the IQS Summer Camp and a €500 FNAC gift card. The second and third place winners will receive a 50% tuition scholarship for the first year of their bachelor’s degree studies, along with free enrolment in the IQS Summer Camp and a €300 FNAC gift card. In addition, the video that receives the most votes from the public will be awarded a €300 FNAC gift card.

Finally, the school with the greatest participation in submitting videos will receive a €1,500 grant to acquire equipment for their school. The schools with the second and third highest participation will each receive a €1,000 grant.

Teachers boosting careers

This contest is a unique opportunity for young women to explore their talent in STEM fields and share their vision of the future. In addition, the event highlights the importance of the role that teachers play in promoting these careers as they motivate students to believe in their abilities and pursue their dreams in the fields of science and technology.

Participants have the opportunity to demonstrate their potential and contribute to a future driven by science and innovation.

Now is the time to dream big and make those STEM dreams come true!
