IQS Hosts the First iMotions Academy in Spain

The iMotions Academy will teach the Academic Certification course in Spanish for the very first at the IQS Neuro & Digital Marketing Lab within the IQS School of Management (Barcelona) from 12 to 16 June.

The iMotions  Academy will teach the Academic Certification course in Spanish for the very first at the IQS Neuro & Digital Marketing Lab within the IQS School of Management (Barcelona) from 12 to 16 June. This innovative training programme on neuroscience, neuromarketing, and biometric sensors is aimed both at existing iMotions users who wish to deepen their knowledge about the platform as well as professionals who want get training to start their path on neuromarketing or research in applied neurosciences.

iMotions has never before taught the programme in Spanish and will do so with the help of the same specialists who work at the most important human behaviour study laboratories in the world. The iMotions Academy and IQS are offering a unique opportunity to discover everything related to iMotions in depth and obtain certification on the use of this biometric research platform.

The programme will include theoretical knowledge and hands-on sessions aimed at meeting different objectives and offering opportunities for applying biometric research. The aim is to provide the necessary skills so participants can add value to their research and/or companies and institutions across multiple sectors. The course is especially relevant for researchers and practitioners who are interested both in getting started on and broadening their knowledge about the most advanced methods for measuring human emotions and behaviours in an objective and reliable manner. In addition, the programme adapts to the different levels of experience of the participants and their learning needs.

Participants in the course will learn about different types of eye-tracking, electroencephalogram, facial expression analysis, and galvanic skin response devices, which make it possible to objectively measure the emotional and cognitive responses of individuals when faced with different types of stimuli (advertising, packaging, web designs and applications, retail, olfactory or gustatory stimuli, and so on).

During the five days of the course, in addition to being certified in iMotions, participants will have the opportunity to meet, work alongside, and learn from other neuroscience professionals in the newly inaugurated IQS Neuro & Digital Marketing Lab at the IQS School of Management.
