IQS Holds a New Edition of Talent Week to Boost Students’ Employability

Campus Life Events Institutional 20 January 2026

IQS organised a new edition of Talent Week from 12 to 16 January, aimed at 4th‑year students from the IQS School of Management who had been abroad during the first academic semester.

This intensive week was designed to strengthen students’ professional and employability skills, as well as to facilitate direct contact with companies and leading professionals from the business world, bringing them closer to the realities of today’s labour market.

Throughout Talent Week, participants attended training sessions, practical workshops, and company presentations focused on key areas such as entrepreneurship, personal branding, professional use of LinkedIn, job interview preparation, and career decision‑making.

A Programme Focused on Talent Development

The week began with a welcome session led by Dr Flavio Comim, Dean of IQS School of Management, and Dr Gisela Domínguez, Director of IQS Careers, followed by talks and workshops delivered by industry professionals and members of the academic community. Among others, the programme covered skills such as entrepreneurship, with Jordi Arbusà; personal branding, with Esther Comin; and professional discernment, with Dr Francesc Martori.

The programme also included dedicated LinkedIn sessions led by Naiara Pereyra, as well as a contribution from alumnus Max Amat, who shared his professional experience with the students.

Participation of Leading Companies

One of the highlights of Talent Week is the involvement of prominent companies and institutions, giving students direct insight into the world of work and the professional opportunities available.

This edition featured: Barcelona Activa, offering a practical activity on interview training using artificial intelligence and serious games; Enterprise, presenting a business case; as well as Winche, Naturgy, and Skello.

These sessions enabled students to gain first‑hand knowledge of company culture, the most sought‑after professional profiles, and the key skills organisations are looking for.

Talent Week is therefore further consolidated as a key space for connecting students, businesses, and the university, reinforcing IQS’s commitment to comprehensive education and to supporting students as they transition into the professional world.
