IQS participated in the event “Collaboration for innovation with UNIJES: Service Learning and Teacher Training,” which took place at the end of June at the University of Loyola (Seville), with representatives from Comillas, Deusto, Loyola, and ESADE universities also present.
The teaching innovation teams at these universities met for the first time to share experiences and best practices regarding the institutionalization of the Learning and Service methodology, as well as to promote and spread knowledge about innovation and teacher training. The following representatives attended on behalf of IQS: Dr Núria Agulló Chaler, head of ApS, Dr Judith Báguena Polo, head of Quality Management at the IQS School of Engineering, and Dr Jordi Cuadros Margarit, head of the Teaching Innovation Unit.
The participants learned about the experience of the FORJA project at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Cali, explained by Dr Víctor Martínez Ruiz who presented the speech “Javeriana Training for Social Change and Peace.” In addition, workshops were held on the exchange and updating of the Learning and Service institutionalization process at each of the institutions, on the knowledge and scope of the UNISERVITATE project, as well as on the actions committed to within the framework of the APS UNIJES Porticus Network.
