The 15th Edition of the Master in Global Entrepreneurial Management Begins

The most international programme at IQS, the Master in Global Entrepreneurial Management (MGEM), is celebrating its 15th edition this year with various new developments in terms of the activities featured in the programme.

The most international programme at IQS, the Master in Global Entrepreneurial Management (MGEM), is celebrating its 15th edition this year with various new developments in terms of the activities featured in the programme.

Regarding management consulting projects, companies with which students in the master's degree will collaborate in this year's programme include Lubrizol, Lluch Essence, bus4.me, and Africa Finance Corporation. In addition, some of their visits will include the Port of Barcelona, Torres, Barcelona Tech, Barcelona Global (MBA Day), Martiderm, and Fira Barcelona (Smart City Expo and Puzzle X).

With the aim of breaking the ice and getting to know each other in a unique manner, the programme began with a day of team building in a privileged environment that included various dynamics to promote team cohesion and stimulate cooperative work.

The MGEM provides an immersive international experience through a global curriculum that allows students to spend an entire year on three different continents: Europe (IQS – Barcelona, Spain), North America (Loyola Marymount University – Los Angeles, USA), and Asia (Fu Jen University – Taipei, Taiwan).

In the programme, students develop skills to lead multicultural teams as well as negotiation and communication skills in global contexts in order to prepare them to take on management positions in companies and organizations in international markets.

Recognized every year by the prestigious Financial Times Masters in Management (MiM) ranking, the programme climbed four positions in the latest edition. With this recognition, the programme is maintaining its international presence by being highlighted as the world's best master's degree in the International Course Experience category. This outstanding recognition underscores the international vision at IQS.
