Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering

The degree has allowed me to see things in a more analytical way. It has allowed me to always think about solving problems quickly and efficiently.

What would you highlight about the degree?

What I enjoyed the most and, therefore, what I highlight the most of the degree are all the laboratories. The 2 hours of labs every day help a lot to understand the theoretical concepts seen in class.

Could you briefly describe the grade?

The first year was the most expensive of all. The subjects are more generic and serve as an introduction. However, in the second year, the subjects became more specialized to engineering concepts. From then on it all went downhill, and I enjoyed the degree much more, especially the electives offered in the fourth year.

What do you like most about the degree?

As I mentioned before, what I liked the most were all the laboratory hours that allowed me to understand in a practical way all the theory seen in class.

Why did you choose IQS and what would you highlight about the university?

I chose IQS because a large part of my family has studied there and I think it is an excellent opportunity compared to other universities, as they offer a greater proximity of teachers to students as well as a wide range of knowledge in terms of IT knowledge.

Have you done an internship and can you talk about it?

The summer between third and fourth year I did an internship at IQS Tech Transfer working on a project in collaboration with two hospitals in Barcelona. I was allowed to work in a more engineering field related to medicine which awakened my previously unknown interests which I have expanded during the three months of the TFG.

What skills have you acquired through the degree?

The degree has allowed me to see things in a more analytical way. It has allowed me to always think about solving problems quickly and efficiently. Compared to the beginning of the degree, I have noticed how I overcome challenges more easily every day.

What would you tell a student who wants to study at IQS?

If you are willing to take advantage of the opportunities it offers, it is probably the best technical school you can find. Both as a student and in terms of personal growth. It does require constant work and effort.
