Of the master’s degree, I would highlight the level of demand, the opportunity to put knowledge into practice on a daily basis in the laboratory and the good work environment.

Why did you choose IQS?

IQS is a reference center in the field of training in the chemistry sector and this made me consider that it would provide me with the knowledge and practice necessary to enter the workplace prepared.

What skills do you think you have acquired thanks to the master’s degree?

Thanks to the master’s degree I have acquired organizational and security skills with the work done in the laboratory. In addition, it has given me a lot of new knowledge and skills at the public speaking level.

What has the master’s degree given you personally and professionally?

The master’s degree on a personal level has made me demand myself and achieve a challenge that has been hard but at the same time rewarding and enriching. Professionally, it has allowed me to access a research work group at the IBEC center in Barcelona, ​​a pioneer in Smart Nano-bio-Devices, in which I have been able to develop everything I have learned and be autonomous in the required tasks.

What advice would you give to a future student who wants to take this master’s degree?

As advice to a future student, I would say that it is a very demanding master’s degree and that it requires a lot of organizational skills and involvement on the part of the student, but I would advise them to take it for the training and skills acquired.

Tell us about your professional career: How has the master’s degree helped you?

When it comes to entering the workplace, a master’s degree in IQS is highly recognized and facilitates access to numerous companies. Currently, thanks to my master’s degree, I have the opportunity to be part of a highly qualified and innovative team in Smart Nano-bio-Devices at the IBEC (Institut de Bioengineering de Catalunya). This team is dedicated to the development of various systems, from active nanoparticles to biosensors, and their potential application in the field of nanomedicine is being investigated.
