BASF, Repsol, KBC, TEPSA, Covestro, Dow, and Ercros are the multinational companies with which students in the IQS Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering will take their Project I and Project II courses this year.

On 11 October, the kick-off meeting for the students took place, featuring participation from representatives of these companies, who introduced themselves and the projects they will work on with the students in the master's programme. This event represents a unique opportunity in Spain within a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering.

In concrete, both courses entail developing and studying real industrial issues, expanding students' knowledge of cutting-edge technologies and current industrial trends, and having an industrial supervisor from the corresponding company to enhance their technical and cross-disciplinary skills.

Project engineering is one of the many facets of professional activities required to become a good chemical engineer. However, this discipline also offers the opportunity to learn more varied aspects and in greater depth than can be found at chemical and related facilities. For years now, executing a project at IQS has demonstrated its potential as a learning tool and has constituted an authentic personal and professional experience for students and their continuous improvement in preparing them for subsequent employment.
