- Coverage without wait periods or co-payments, including health care expenses (medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, hospitalization, and ambulance) in the event of illness or accident. A minimum coverage of €30,000 is recommended. If you are covered by the National Healthcare System of your country you can apply for the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) in your country of origin. The EHIC gives you access to the Spanish National Healthcare System and covers emergency services through CatSalut.
