I would highlight the wide range of professional opportunities or areas of biotechnology that I have discovered throughout my studies.

I would describe the degree in Biotechnology at IQS as a global degree with many applications that are gradually being discovered. It is a very practical but intense degree.

What do you like the most about the degree?

The closeness of the professors and all the hours of practice we have done.

Why did you choose IQS and what would you highlight about the university?

I chose IQS because I knew that the university had very good laboratories where we would spend many hours due to the large number of internships offered. In addition, I have an acquaintance who has studied at IQS and he told me about the good reputation of the university in the pharmaceutical industry.

Have you done an internship and can you talk about it?

I did 2 months of internship in a company with a lot of potential called Neftis Laboratories where I was working as a technician in the R&D laboratory. I prepared creams and other pharmaceutical products. It helped me to see if I would like to work collaborating with a laboratory, but more as a product designer rather than running experiments.

What skills have you acquired through the degree?

What skills have you acquired thanks to A lot of skill in the lab. To not have problems to make a presentation in public. Working in a group, either in class doing a project or in the lab doing practical work. I have also learned to organize myself well in times of heavy workload.

What would you tell a student who wants to study at IQS?

The Biotechnology degree at IQS has given me contacts with companies in the sector and with good scientists, as well as a critical scientific vision. It has given me security and self-confidence and a great desire to enter the world of biotechnology companies. It has allowed me to do an internship to begin to see what field I really like.
