This project is part of the State Network Consortium for the Develoment of Advanced Therapy Medicines (CERTERA).

The participation is focused on the improvement of the productive systems of ATMPs (Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products) helping to design, implement and validate more robust, scalable, applying GMP(Good Management Practices)-Compliant concept and cost-effective bioprocesses. In short, the main objective of our approach is to help the members/users of the consortium to engineer and develop better bioprocesses yielding better products under controlled conditions. Our approach will also include the design, production and transfer to GMP production of non-viral vectors based on polymeric nanodelivery systems to be used in the production of ATMPs and also for gene therapy purposes. The non-viral vectors patented technology would be offered to other members/nodes of CERTERA consortium, to the clinical and research groups (users of CERTERA), and finally they will be used in house (at IQS) to transfect cells when requested to produce specific ATMP.
