Thirty-four new members of IQS School of Management join Beta Gamma Sigma

The prestigious international academic society Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) has welcomed 34 new inductees from IQS School of Management, during the 19th Induction Ceremony, held on May 15th.  The inductees stand out for their academic excellence and are distributed among 23 undergraduate students, 8 master’s participants, and 3 doctoral candidates.

The event was chaired by Dr. Salvador Borrós, Director General of IQS, and included the participation of Dr. Flavio Comim, Dean of IQS School of Management.

The ceremony welcomed as its guest of honor Dr. Sam Giove, Director of Sheffield Business School (United Kingdom), who has over 25 years of experience in higher education and a strong track record in both academic and business settings. Recognized for her work in developing learning strategies grounded in authenticity and inclusion, she is noted for her commitment to the role of business schools in promoting social mobility and economic transformation.

Beta Gamma Sigma, of which IQS School of Management has been a member since 2007, is an international academic honor society that recognizes the merit of the top students at AACSB-accredited business schools. It currently has more than 900,000 members worldwide, spread across more than 600 chapters in over 190 countries.

Being part of Beta Gamma Sigma represents a global recognition of the commitment to the values of leadership and integrity, reinforcing the international standing of IQS students.
